Unicorns

If I was on a plane and the pilot announced he thought he saw a unicorn and was going to maneuver to get a closer look I’d be irate. Unicorns aren’t real and I paid to get to my destination on time. Not to look at the flying horses in the sky.
If I was on a plane and a few passengers thought they saw a unicorn and charged to the front of the plane, banging on the cockpit door, demanding the pilot get a closer look, I’d be even more irate. Their behaviour would result in delays and might even result in the plane making an emergency landing.
But if I was on a plane and I thought I saw a unicorn, I’d think I was right and demand the pilot take a closer look and tell all the other passengers that they had to believe me and the delay wasn’t a big deal. And when I realized I was out to lunch, I’d shrug my shoulders and go look for a dragon.
